Eastern Canada Ski Resorts
Quebec and the Maritimes anchor Eastern Canadian skiing — Mont-Sainte-Anne, Tremblant, Le Massif de Charlevoix, and the wilder Gaspé and Newfoundland peaks. Smaller verticals than the West, but reliable cold and a distinctly French-Canadian ski culture.

Skiing in Eastern Canada — FAQ
- Best Eastern Canada resort?
- Tremblant is the biggest single resort by vertical and infrastructure. Mont-Sainte-Anne and Le Massif de Charlevoix offer the most snowfall and St. Lawrence views. Powder hunters head further east to Gaspé's Mont Albert and the Chic-Chocs backcountry.
- When is the Eastern Canada ski season?
- December through April. January and February are coldest and snowiest; March often has the best snow on groomers as the days lengthen.
- How much snow does it get?
- Most Eastern Canadian resorts average 200–400 inches per season. Le Massif de Charlevoix and the Gaspé interior get the most thanks to St. Lawrence moisture.
