Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using SnowSure™ (“snowsure.ai”), including our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by 43 Nord LLC, a Maine limited liability company, doing business as Afore Travel (“Afore”, “we”), 310 Market Street, Basalt, Colorado 81621, United States.
Use of the Service
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial use to view snow conditions, forecasts, and resort information. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by scraping data at scale, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or using the Service in any way that could harm us or other users. Using SnowSure data through our API, MCP server, embeds or feeds is covered by API and data attribution below.
Your Content
You can post snow reports, comments and photos to the Service. Post only first-hand content that is yours to share. You are responsible for what you post.
You keep ownership of what you post. It stays yours. By posting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce and adapt your report and its photos so that we can run and promote SnowSure — on the site, in the app, in our snow data, and in marketing. You confirm the content is yours to post and that sharing it here breaks no one else’s rights. We may remove anything, at any time.
You can delete a report whenever you like. Deleting it takes it off the site and out of the app. Two things can outlast it: copies we have already published elsewhere, such as a social post or a newsletter, and the aggregate snow data your report has already fed, which no longer identifies you. Our backups also hold a copy for a short while before they roll over. The licence above continues for those copies only. To ask us to remove something, email info@snowsure.ai.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post anything that is offensive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, threatening, unlawful, spam, deliberately misleading, or that infringes anyone else’s rights or privacy.
We may screen text and photos before they appear, and refuse or hold anything that looks like it breaks these rules. You can report any post from its menu in the app, and block a user so you no longer see what they post. We review reported content and remove content that breaks these rules within 24 hours of it being reported.
We remove users who post objectionable content or abuse others, and may suspend or delete their accounts without notice. To raise a concern directly, email info@snowsure.ai.
Accuracy of Information
Snow and weather data, forecasts, and SnowSure™ scores are provided for informational purposes only. Conditions change rapidly; always check official resort and weather sources before making travel or safety decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data on the Service.
Intellectual Property
SnowSure™, the SnowSure logo, and related marks are owned by Afore or its affiliates. The Service, including its design, content, and software, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission, except as API and data attribution allows.
API and Data Attribution
This section covers snow conditions, forecasts, scores, rankings, history and other data you get from SnowSure through our API (snowsure.ai/api), our MCP server, our embeds and feeds, or the Service itself (“SnowSure Data”). You may show SnowSure Data in your own site, app or AI assistant on the conditions below. If you do not accept them, do not use SnowSure Data.
Credit SnowSure. Wherever you show, publish or pass on SnowSure Data, or anything derived from it, show the credit “Data by SnowSure.ai” next to it with a visible link to https://www.snowsure.ai (or to the SnowSure page for the resort concerned). The link must be one people can follow and search engines can crawl, so do not mark it nofollow, hide it, or put it behind a click. An AI assistant or agent that answers with SnowSure Data must name SnowSure as the source and give the link in its answer.
Carry the upstream credits. Some SnowSure Data is derived from third-party sources whose licences require a credit, such as weather model data. Every API response and MCP result lists those credits in its credits field, and the X-Attribution header repeats the main ones. Show them alongside our credit. Some of those licences carry their own conditions; for example, UK Met Office data is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0.
Bulk and automated access. Do not copy SnowSure Data in bulk. That includes downloading it systematically, mirroring it, or building a database or dataset from it, unless you use an API key we have issued to you, which records your site and your acceptance of these terms. Stay within the published rate limits and the limits of your key. Do not get around them by spreading requests across addresses, accounts or keys.
No resale. You may not sell, sublicense or supply SnowSure Data to others as a data feed, or use it to build a competing snow data or forecast service, without a written licence from us.
Our rights. SnowSure Data is provided “as is” under the Accuracy and Disclaimer sections of these Terms. We may change limits, refuse or revoke access or keys, and ask you to remove SnowSure Data if these conditions are not met. For higher volumes, a commercial licence, or any question about attribution, email info@snowsure.ai.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afore and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
