For Resort Operators

Email Your Snow Report

Send the same daily report you share with OnTheSnow or Snowsbest — we parse it and publish verified operator data on SnowSure, our API, and AI assistants like ChatGPT.

Reports can be written in English, French, German, or Spanish. We extract snow amounts and conditions in any of these languages.

Quick start

  1. 1
    Get resort admin access

We create a login at snowsure.ai/admin/resort. Contact us via Work With Us if you need credentials.

  2. 2
    Register reporter email addresses

In Settings → Reporter emails, add the address(es) that will send daily reports (e.g. patrol@, snowreport@). Only approved senders are accepted.

  3. 3
    Choose publish workflow

Review required (default) — parsed data lands as a draft; you approve in the Snow Report tab. Auto-publish — goes live immediately when parsed.

  4. 4
    Email your report

Send to report@snowsure.ai (or report@snowdata.ai). Use free text — see format below.

Email format

No special template required. Paste your usual morning report — the same text you send to other distributors. Centimetres or inches both work. Optional: start the subject or first line with your resort code (shown in resort admin after login — Settings → Reporter emails).

Example (English)

Subject: YOURCODE: Daily snow report — 1 June

Daily snow report — 1 June 2026

24 hour snow: 7 cm
48 hour snow: 12 cm
Base depth: 180 cm
Mid depth: 200 cm
Summit depth: 210 cm
Lifts open: 3/10
Runs open: 4/70

Conditions: Light snow overnight, partly cloudy.
Mountain report: Good coverage on upper mountain.

Fields we extract

  • 24h / 48h snowfall (cm or in)
  • Base, mid, and summit depth
  • Lifts and runs open (e.g. 3/10, 4/70)
  • Conditions / mountain report text
  • Report date (if included)
  • Snow stake photos (attachments — read via vision AI)

Terrain % and other ops fields can still be entered manually in the Snow Report form after you approve a draft.

Your resort email code

Each resort has a unique prefix (e.g. YOURCODE:) for routing shared inboxes. Codes are not published on this page — log in to snowsure.ai/admin/resort and open Settings → Reporter emails to see yours. Only register approved sender addresses; that is the primary security control.

What appears on SnowSure

Operator report (verified)

Your emailed or portal-submitted data appears as the official operator report on your resort page, in our API (operatorReport), and via our MCP server for AI assistants.

Forecasts (weather models)

7–14 day snowfall forecasts on SnowSure come from Open-Meteo weather models, not from your email. We never mix ML predictions into the weather-model average without clear labeling.
