A storm watch has been issued for the Early-September Andes System due to a significant Pacific weather pattern expected to impact the region from September 9 to September 12, 2026. This system is projected to bring substantial snowfall to several resorts, with Antuco receiving 32.4cm, making it the highest total, followed closely by Nevados de Chillán at 31.9cm and Las Araucarias at 31.4cm. Volcán Osorno is forecasted to receive 30.5cm. The model agreement is relatively strong, with Antuco showing 4.5 models agreeing on average, while the others have 4.3.
