5-Yr Avg by Now

Over the past five years, average seasonal snowfall has increased significantly compared to the 30-year average, with the 5-year mean (172.7 cm) exceeding the long-term mean (121.5 cm) by over 40%. However, the current season's snowfall is notably lower, reaching only 56% of the recent 5-year average and 80% of the 30-year average, indicating a sharp decline from recent elevated levels. This season represents a significant anomaly following several years of above-average snowfall, suggesting increased variability and a potential shift in recent snowfall patterns.
