The Alps Ski Resorts
Europe's Alps run from the French Mont Blanc massif east through Switzerland, Austria, northern Italy, and into Slovenia — the largest contiguous network of ski resorts in the world. SnowSure tracks live conditions across the major Alpine resorts in seven countries, combining seven weather models so you can compare snow and forecast quality at a glance.
Use the leaderboard below to find the deepest base, the freshest 24-hour snow, or the highest SnowSure score in the Alps right now. Each resort page includes the multi-model forecast spread, a base/summit altitude profile, and webcams where available.

Skiing in The Alps — FAQ
- Which countries are in the Alps?
- The Alpine arc covers Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Liechtenstein, and Slovenia. SnowSure tracks resorts in all seven.
- When is the Alpine ski season?
- Most Alpine resorts open in late November or early December and close in mid- to late April. High-altitude glacier resorts like Hintertux, Tignes, and Zermatt's Klein Matterhorn can stay open into summer.
- How is SnowSure better than a single forecast?
- SnowSure blends seven weather models (ECMWF, GFS, GEM, JMA, ICON, Météo-France, Met Norway). Model agreement is a strong signal of forecast confidence — a unanimous 30 cm prediction is much more bankable than a single bullish model.
